The office of Joel Higgins, M.D., P.C., is committed to providing patients with convenient access to high-quality care. We believe that providing high-quality care is not only about the medical advice that we dispense, but more importantly about the relationships we have with our patients. We continue to strive to be a leader in innovative medical practices and are one of the first offices in the area to offer online health services to our patients.

Joel E. Higgins, M.D.
Dr. Higgins is a native of Augusta, Georgia. Prior to 2001 he was in a group practice in Atlanta, Georgia, where he had been since completing residency training at Emory University. He, his wife and family are glad to be in Waycross. He has enjoyed living in a smaller town and developing many friendships within the community.
He enjoys the thrill of helping bring newborn babies into the world, as well as various types of gynecologic care and surgery.
